A NAKED MAN ON MY DOORSTEP ?😱😩😰

 

Omo. People of God, been a while o. I’ve been here and there busy with life o. No metal gist like that until today, I am mentally scarred for life. So I work in an hospital now and I was on night shift today. Okay so it’s 1:49am and while trying to find some sleep after feeling guilty for ending what seemed to be a beautiful relationship🥺, I heard a knock on my door. 

I jumped up immediately with every sense of urgency in me at the thought that a patient in distress might have been the one knocking, lo and behold, I opened my door to see a fully naked man in front of me.

Yup! You heard me correctly, fully naked from head to toe, like ‘Adam before he ate the forbidden fruit’ naked. I was puzzled, startled, frightened, name it.

Imagine waking up from your sleep to open the door for a naked stranger of the opposite gender, as in, not even your fellow gender o. He was bleeding and had cuts and bruises all over. Blood here and there. Not gonna lie, I was speechless, I didn’t even know what to say. 

I actually thought maybe he was mad but to my amusement he was actually speaking good English.  Omo, I ran o. I ran as far as I could away from him to report to the doctor, who also was fast asleep. I told him a naked man is here to see him, sleep clear for baba eyes immediately, lol, na so I go disturb all the nurses o. There was one fearless one and one fearful one too, like me.

When they got to him, he was already using a notebook to cover his ‘yunno what’. 

Thankfully, the fearless one, got him something to put on. Mehn, I pity the owner of that notebook o.  

We quickly got a cleaner to clean everywhere  but of course, the OCD nature of mine wouldn’t let things be. I got my sanitizer and cleaned and sanitized the door handles, the gate handles, the railing at the veranda, the main desk at the reception, and kept washing my hand a million times. The housekeeper must have been tired of me, cuz while she was cleaning everywhere he must have sat down, i kept pointing to all other chairs he might not have even sat down. I guess it’s my overthinking nature, because blood to me is very critical o. Hepatitis, Hiv can be incurred so me I’m not taking any chances.

Wo, as I speak to you, I’m unable to sleep back, Infact the whole hospital is awake. I can’t get the thought out of my head  so I say make  I come gist una small.

Omo, things are happening o. We’ve been reaching out to his family members to come and pick him up. He said he can’t walk, but mehn, all the numbers he gave us, they are saying wrong number o, that they don’t know him. If it’s Lottery now, they won’t be forming ‘Peter’ in the Bible.

Chai. I wonder if there is any moral lesson for today. The naked  stranger later explained that he was beaten up by some of his enemies or something for doing them wrong at a hotel , and they took all his clothes, today’s moral lesson will be for you all to take this life easy o, I don’t know what will warrant such wickedness. but again, we don’t know the full story, all I’ll say is that you guys should try your best to show love to people o and just avoid fight if possible, because you really don’t know how wicked or evil people’s heart might be. Some of you think you are untouchable. Dead that mentality. The human structure is very fragile and frail, you see those oxygen in your lungs, they are easily extinguishable by the littlest of things. Even ordinary small choking on meat, you fit go o. That’s not a very good example but I’m sure you get the drill.

Small insult you insult today, you fit end up for grave tomorrow. I don’t know if i should be saying this here, but I lost a loved one recently due to a similar situation, he fought with someone who retaliated by crushing him with a car while he was peeing and I’m not even joking, although I heard the story might have been more complicated than that, but that was the event that led to his demise and  I’m a little afraid just thinking about it. R.I.P to him and I pray God avenges his death because this useless country actually let the murderer go scot free because  my fam wouldn’t let them use my dead loved one body as evidence for court case for one year because  they wanted to quickly bury him. Mehn this is a  story for another day. Stay focused Funmilola, you’re fond of this. But if you’re still planning on voting an old man for presidency in this country, next year,  continue  o, you hear continue. As you’re eating that overpriced fish that bone still fit choke you on top, continue o. Continue very well. 

I don’t wanna be a drab today, so let me just stop here and try and  see if I can still sleep back, but mehn, a whole lot can happen within a short while. Y’all be safe. Guys oooooo! Update! Update! We finally heard why the stranger was beaten up, imagine, yesterday was his birthday, he celebrated it at an hotel, sent fake alert of 85k to the hotel, they caught him, beat him up and stripped him. Na by force to do birthday in this tough economy? 🤭 I swear I no wan laugh but e dey funny. Fake life no dey pay ooo. I should cook something interesting for all our Instagram wanna bees one of  this days. Make una remind me.  Lol. I think it’s safe to say that this is a pure case of Afowofa. He’s lucky he was beaten up by ajebo bouncers in the suburb and not pako bouncers in the ghettos,  na for mortuary the matter go end. Anywayz y’all can’t tell ne you haven’t learnt one or two things today. All I know is that we can all be better than who we are today! We are all wicked people,  it’s the battle against our evil thoughts that will determine which side of us people will get to experience. May God give us the grace to spread nothing but positive energy around in this dark, dark generation.
